Such a clean environment. Polite staff. You’re made to feel at ease! As you walk through the door you’re greeted by the manager, Harriette who is polite and friendly. I’m currently having a piece done on my thigh by Aggie which is going to take all day, possibly longer and I feel so relaxed! Would highly recommend coming here if you want anything done! My dad (Paul Bowman) came here for his sleeve and then went back for another consultation for his other arm. Mike Sklavenitis pointed out an area of skin that he wasn't happy to tattoo without a doctors note. The skin in question wasn't risen or looked like a concern however it later turned out to be skin cancer. We would like to say a massive thank you to Mike as this has probably saved my dad's life and goes to show their duty of care here really is top notch. Thank you again and we will always recommend you. Xxx

Had my first tattoo done by monumental 3 years ago! And since then I seem to have become slightly more addicted. I’ve had tattoos done by Scott, Louise & Sam. Also had my latest one done by a guest artiste which is just beyond amazing. Had laser done to make space for my new creations. The reception staff are always amazing, the tattoo artists are friendly, they really pay attention to detail, and take in what your saying. It’s so clean & always smells fresh. I literally cannot fault them for anything. Best tattooists in Colchester! Can’t wait to get back in there and finish my sleeve!

Would like to thank Mike from Monumental Ink for my amazing back tattoo. It’s been a fantastic experience and well worth the months of hard work Mike put into this piece. This tattoo has exceeded my expectations by a 1000% and Mike is a true artist and extremely talented tattooist. Had my first tattoo done at Monumental Ink and am extremely happy with my new tattoo! The reception staff were extremely lovely and offered me and my Mum a hot drink while we waited. The place has a lovely atmosphere and is very clean and hygienic! The women who done my tattoo ensured that I was comfy and ready for her to start my tattoo, also checking I was okay throughout also.

Will definitely be returning to have my second tattoo done in the future there! Overall the staff made my experience at Monumental Ink very relaxing and put me at ease!
