We understand artists are individuals and that most people want to boost their own profile. That’s great and to be expected, but we do want to be clear that at our studios egos are not welcome. Nor is self entitlement.
Every person who joins the Monumental team has value, we do not have hierarchy based on talent, followers or fame. We operate on the basis that we are all human beings who share all things human.
We all have good days, bad days and everything in between. Recognising that no one person is better than any another.
We do require a good attitude, accountability, responsibility, a good morale code and integrity.
Vulnerability and communication are not only important but encouraged.

Had my first ever tattoos 4 days after my 18th. Ak is amazing and created beautiful designs; better than I could imagine. They had no problem with altering one of them slightly as per my request. I felt safe the entire time and felt very welcomed by the team. The studio is lovely and modern and clean as can be. Could not recommend them more for a first tattoo or any tattoo for that matter! Looking forward to my next tattoos and will be staying with Ak until I've got all the tattoos I want.

Had my first tattoo done at Monumental Ink and am extremely happy with my new tattoo! The reception staff were extremely lovely and offered me and my Mum a hot drink while we waited. The place has a lovely atmosphere and is very clean and hygienic! The women who done my tattoo ensured that I was comfy and ready for her to start my tattoo, also checking I was okay throughout also.
Will definitely be returning to have my second tattoo done in the future there! Overall the staff made my experience at Monumental Ink very relaxing and put me at ease!
